Pelican always has the coolest stuff and we always walk away from their booth wanting one of everything. Good thing I'm not greedy!
The 9420 LED Work Light is a masterpiece of modern engineering, just due to the way it manages to collapse into a carrying case that holds all the accessories, as well. Once the mast is raised, the LED light runs on rechargeable batteries hidden somewhere deep inside (in other words, I never saw where you put them in). I know they're in there, because it got awfully bright when Kevin Murphy turned it on.
The 9420 can be ordered as part of the 9420XL Kit, which includes:
- 2 - Lithium-ion batteries
- DC Vehicle Charger
- AC Main charger with transformer
- Charging station
- Carrying strap
This light would be great for any work site where power is unavailable or in short supply. The set-up looked easy enough, the legs being the trickiest part.
