Paint Brush Life-Preserver - Tool Tip

Here's a pretty self-explanatory tip that I discovered recently while staining some new bookcases. If you're using rubber/latex gloves during the staining process, one of them will make the perfect short-term storage solution for a brush. This works especially well if you're returning to the project within a couple of hours.

By holding the brush in your gloved hand and removing that glove with the other hand, you can even accomplish this without getting a drop of stain or paint on your fingers. It sure saves a lot of clean-up time and preserves the brush for use in the not-too-distant future!.
