DeWalt DCS310S1 Pivoting Recip Saw - Tool Review

The little saw that could. That would have been a perfect name for the DeWalt DCS310S1 Pivoting Reciprocating Saw. It certainly would have been fewer syllables. What a great tool this turned out to be!

Reciprocating saws have come a long way from the days of the first Sawzall. They've become faster, better, and maybe even a little stronger, thanks to Li-ion batteries. And when you consider this tool is powered by a little 12 volt pack weighing in at around 8 ounces, it's pretty amazing.

Not only does it pivot into 3 different positions, but also comes with several other pretty cool features that impressed me. Take a look at the video review below and you'll also see my one big gripe about this saw (and the work-around).
