Contractor Tool & Laptop Bag

I've never been fond of tool bags for one simple reason - small items tend to wander to their darkest corners, never to be found again. Actually, they usually turn up a couple years later when emptying the bag out. "Oh, that's where that went," is my usual response. With that in mind, I was more than pleasantly surprised with the Veto Pro Pac XLT - it's laid out more like a box than a bag.

The fact that the sides of the XLT fold down makes everything inside visible at once - no more rummaging around in the dark to find the elusive wrench or driver bit. And that's just the beginning - take a look at the rest of the features of this tough-as-nails bag.

Veto Pro Pac XLT Features

  • Waterproof Base
  • 36 Total Vertical Tool Pockets
  • 4 Zippered Pockets
  • 12 Neoprene Pockets
  • 2 Magnetic Horizontal Pockets
  • 8 D Rings
  • Measuring Tape Clip
  • Adhesive Tape Loop
  • Laptop Storage
  • 5 Year Limited Warranty

Surprisingly, that's just the beginning. I was amazed at how much storage there is inside and out in this bag. Of course, if you load it to the gills, you'll be carrying around some significant weight, but the padded shoulder strap makes that a little easier. It's actually comfortable to carry, believe it or not.

Pro Pac XLT Worth The Money?

That's the first question out of most peoples' mouths when they hear that a tool bag costs more than $200. If course, the answer to that question is relative. If you're a home inspector, for example, this is an ideal bag to pack with nearly every piece of inspection equipment you could think of, including your laptop. If you're currently lugging around 2 or 3 bags to do your job, then spending the money could be worth it in time and hassle savings.

Veto Pro Pac XLT Opinion

I can say without a doubt that what you're getting in return for your money is a quality bag with a ton of features and a lot of thought in the construction process. You can tell about the quality of just about any tool or product by looking closely at the details. Are there loose threads hanging from sewn seams? Rough edges on welds? Sloppy stitching patterns? There are none of those that I could see on the Veto Pro Pac XLT. They either have an immaculate production process or an amazing QC department. Either way, that's good news for the consumer.
