New Pen Blank Kits Honor Military Service

A Portion of Proceeds to Benefit the Wounded Warrior Project

MEDINA, MN (September 4, 2013) - Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has introduced four new laser-cut, inlay pen blank kits which feature service ribbon symbols to honor men and women who have served the United States military in Viet-Nam, Iraq, and/or Afghanistan, as well as those who have been awarded a Purple Heart. The Service Ribbon and Purple Heart Pen Blank Kits feature dyed, laser-cut wood pieces that comprise the emblem for each pen when it is assembled and turned.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of the kits will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project provides "unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured veterans and service members." For additional information, visit www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

The Service Ribbon and Purple Heart Pen Blank Kits all contain dyed, laser-cut basswood pieces that form a colorful decoration when assembled as part of the pen barrel. The kits are made to fit Manhattan style pen hardware kits (sold separately, see rockler.com for details). Each kit also includes a set of instructions.
