It's always a pleasure stopping to see Nicole Weiss and the gang at Shoulder Dolly. They not only have some great tools, but they're actually fun to work with. This year, they gave us a demo of their latest lifting tool - the Ready Lifter Moving Straps. Yup, they work in the same basic way their Shoulder Dolly Straps work, but they come in at a lower price point for consumers.

Lifting Heavy Things

Let's face it, it's never fun, so you need all the help you can get. And help is what Ready Lifter Moving Straps bring to the table. The concept is simple.

Each person on the lifting team (yes, it takes 2 people, but not a village) dons a Ready Lifter harness.

The 12 foot lifting strap is then threaded through each of the harness's buckles and tightened.

Then, the magic happens. Using leverage and balance, 2 people can make short work of lifting and moving a washing machine - or a refrigerator - or a mattress - or, well, you get the picture.

They work. It takes a little time (very little, actually) to get "the hang of it", but once you do, you're off to the races. Or the moving truck, as it were. These straps are a great investment if you're the occasional mover of heavy things and don't want to spend a fortune on hiring someone else to do it for you. I don't think you'll be disappointed in the least. You may even be amazed.
