Improved ergonomics and best-in-class impact energy improve performance, productivity

Mount Prospect, Ill., April 25, 2013 – Bosch Power Tools is releasing a powerful hammer to join its top-of-the-line demolition product line-up. The new Bosch DH507 12 lb SDS®-max Demo Hammer boasts improved ergonomics and new design features to help users maximize productivity during a variety of applications including removing wall and floor tiles, repairing joints, cutting slots in concrete or masonry and creating recesses or breaking through concrete.

Weighing a total of 12.4 pounds and delivering 5.6 foot-pounds (EPTA)* of impact energy, the DH507 packs powerful chipping capabilities into an ergonomic tool to deliver maximum comfort for chiseling in tight spaces or in an array of different positions.  The Vario-lock™ positioning rotates and locks the chisel mechanism into 12 different positions to optimize working angles. The tool also features a lock-on button for extended use applications and a variable speed trigger/dial for controlled chiseling.

The DH507’s design elements make the hammer stand out from others on the market. In addition to the side handle which comes standard with the tool, the new DH507 also features an ergonomic grip area on the hammer tube which maximizes user comfort when chiseling in tight or hard to reach places.  Inside the tool, a steel sleeve made of magnesium alloy is embedded into the housing allowing for better heat distribution, ultimately improving durability.
