What do the Ryobi Phone Works Devices Do?
Each device, along with the free downloadable app, turns your smart phone into a smart tool. Currently there are 8 different tools that can be connected to your smart phone. Laser Level
When plugged into the audio port of your phone, this little tool ,along with the free app, turns your smart phone into a crosshair laser level. The data is displayed on your phone screen and you can match and customize angles. Makes capturing, storing, and manipulating data simple.
Moisture Meter
This device detects moisture levels in wood, drywall, cement, and other building materials. Your phone screen displays the information and even lets you compare what is an acceptable humidity range in your particular geographic location.
Inspection Scope
This inspection meter really is smart. In addition to utilizing your phone's screen with the images the scope captures, you can add videos and voice notes. Either mount the phone to your device, or use remotely from a distance of up to 10 feet.
Laser Distance Measurer
You can measure distances with precise accuracy (1/6" at 90') using your smart phone, the free app, and the Phone Works Laser Distance Measurer. It also has an alert to let you know if you've reached a preset distance. Capture the images on your phone screen and share them instantly.
Infrared Thermometer
The Infrared Thermometer, when paired with your smart phone, can take and record surface temperatures between -22°F and 662°F. It can be used in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. All of the data can be captured on your phone.
Laser Pointer
Whether you want to annoy (or entertain) your cat, or use a laser pointer on your remodeling project, this device allows you to turn your smart phone into a laser pointer and transfer level.
Noise Suppression Earphones
We are big fans of the Ryobi Tek4 Noise Suppression Headphones. They've taken that same technology and put it into earphones. Save your hearing and still be able to hear conversations or alerts. And the earphones include a microphone so you can use them for making calls on your smart phone.
Stud Finder
The stud finder uses smart technology to locate the center of a stud more accurately than before. Sending images to your phone's screen, you can find studs behind drywall up to 3/4" think. One-handed use and no marking on the wall make this a very user-friendly device.
